Micro Teaching

Hello!! Thank you for listening our micro teaching.

-strong point
We tried to do our micro teaching in ten minutes, so contents were really simple.
We wanted to take much time to practice sentences.In the time of practicing, we could check each students' answer.

-weak point
I was really nervous in front of students. I could not speak louder and clearly.
Because we used the only one sentence, it wasn't in student's brain already.We should have used more sentences or more interesting context.

I want to say "thank you" to you again. All of you pronounced the sentences loudly and raised your hand positively.
It was really helpful. And also, some of you asked me something as a student. You acted like a real student for us. Thank you so much.

This experience was benefit for me.Thank you, Mr. Hall and everyone.

Hi☆This is rozen.My roll was a studenmt who don't like or dislike English.
I'll wrote my opinions.
①I think the strong point were that cutting a sentence with each phrase for students to more easily to recognize what the sentense is.
②I think the weak point was a little smile.I want more smile and find your(two of you) kindness and get a feel confortable.

In the class, when a student answered your question, you admired your student. So, I think students can have confidence. I think that is a your strong point.I think if there are example sentences more, students can understand easily. Thank you for your teaching!

Your Strong Points:
When you expalined "finish -ing", you said that it is different from "be -ing". I think it is effective because they are similar in their form. And your writing on the blackboard was easy to see, so it helped me to understand.
Your Weak Point:
As you wrote,I think it would be better to present more examples before students do activity using work sheet.

Your teaching is very good way for teaching grammer. Especially, you explained the target sentence' structure detail. I think it is very easy for student to understand grammer.
As you wrote, you should use more sentences.
Using many examples is more easy to understand.

Hi I am NABESO . I thought A work sheet we used in the class is good for students because it is easy to make sentenses which include verbal noun for students . However if there are more words in the work sheet students can understand the grammer more deeply . Thank you for your teaching .

Hi,this is Satona☆Thank you for your microteaching in last ETM class.Your strong points were good communication with students and precise explanation.You taught students who didn't understand guestion.That was very good.While,I wanted some more informations haw to use the worksheet.

Your explanation was short and easy to understand, and I think that's really good point.I needed more oppotunity to talk and practice although you had 10 minutes. If you used more examples, your class would become better.

I think your class was good,because your face was smiling and voice was clearly too.Also we could undersand diferrence between "finish -ing" and "be -ing".If you did similar in junior high school,you could get successful.

Hi☆You taught the topic step by step,so students could notice the topic and guess the meaning by themselves.And I felt comparing similar form like "be ~ing" was very important to have students notice each difference.Also I think your worksheet was very effctive.Because there were some contents in addition to 動名詞 and students needed to think many grammatical points.If you give more examples before worksheet, students can understand 動名詞 and get the skill more easily.

I think it is difficult to teach gerund.

Your worksheet is easy to understand. And I knew our friends hobby and favorite things. I enjoy it.
But I am surprised at Daiki playing soccer. I have not seen him play soccer, since we have been in high school. So I hope Daiki plays it together.

*Strong Points*
Takatoshi, your voice was so clear that I could understand what you said. And your way of talking was like a real teacher and would attract students to the class.
Mika, you helped students in a gentle manner in practicing. Students would be encouraged to study English by your help.
*Weak Points*
To teach the gerund with the progressive form can be confusing to students.
And Mika, you should not have shown your back to students so much in writing on the blackbord.

Anyway you did a good job. I think it would be a good experience for you. Thank you.

You explained the structure very smoothly, so we could study the contents naturally. If you add something memorable appeal to the contents, the class will become more effective and nicer!

You said something good for the students. It makes that student get to the positive attitude for class. The students who learn the new grammar will understand it by simple explanation. You did like that.

Hi! This is Wakame. Your practice of pronunciation was so fine! It had many variations and we weren't bored with it at all. I think that we needed some more simple practices before studying on the work sheets. Some students were comfused and ie was a little difficult for some students, but your teaching was so skillful! Hi, Scarlet and Manning! I enjoyed your micro teaching. You gave us a handout in the class. I guess you prepared for this activity hard. Actually your handout was made well.
Both of you looked like be a real teacher. When we made a noise in first of your class, MrScarlet attracted our attention to you by saying "Hi! Please attention!". So we could concentrate.
But there is a weak point. You didn't teach how to use and make gerund sentense yet, nevertheless you made us solve the handout. So as students I couldn't solve the handout. It was hard for students to solve the handout question at once.
Enyway, your micro teaching was very good and I could enjoyed the activity. I want to do micro teaching such as you. Thank You!
